MAGMA Fest, Hollow Earth Radio’s annual music celebration, has announced the dates for its 2026 festival and the full lineup of performances. For the first time, Magma Fest will be held on Halloween at The Black Lodge located in Eastlake. We are dubbing this year's event MAGMA-Ween!

Since its inception in 2008, MAGMA Fest has sought to showcase underground, underrepresented, and emerging artists from the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

The full 2026 lineup includes:

  • Trash Panda Go Kart - Power twee lesbian raccoon rock from Zinnia and Selena on the Island of Misfit Toys. Expect noisy yet dance-y songs about critters, bugs, flowers, and food with sing-songy melodies and loud guitars.

About Magma Fest

Launched in 2008, Magma Fest is Hollow Earth Radio’s annual music showcase. A multi-day, multi-venue event, the festival aims to platform up-and-coming artists from Washington and “provide a public forum for the people of Seattle to experience underrepresented sounds and perspectives.” Additionally, the festival plans to bring awareness to Hollow Earth Radio, Seattle’s non-profit, all-volunteer, DIY LPFM radio station.

According to an article in Seattle’s The Stranger, Magma Fest offers “hardcore, garage, pop, experimental, punk, loud, quiet, young, old—it's a sonic buffet for every taste imaginable, and they never book the same band twice.”
